Service Description

We've had our initial call. Now we start to dig into what you need and how I can help. I briefly share more about what laws or processes may be involved. We discuss whether this is legal representation or philanthropy advising or a mix. We talk about how this might play out and how we might structure fees. I will tell you things you can do to ensure effective and efficient workflows. I will ask if you have worked with another lawyer or advisor on this matter. I will ask who the people involved are—it is important to avoid conflicts of interest and to know who has authority to discuss the matter. I will ask if there are any imminent deadlines or time limitations. I will not review documents at this time. We will decide whether to form an ongoing relationship and sketch out next steps.
